Darrell Woodcock, Jr., CFP

Darrell Woodcock, Jr. is a Certified Financial Planner professional and has been offering Wealth Planning since 2006.  After graduating from Western Kentucky University with a Business Degree, he spent 10 years with a national investment and financial planning firm before opening his own financial planning firm, Apex Financial Planning in 2016.  This transition allowed Darrell to execute financial plans and investment strategies on a more independent platform with the ability to utilize additional client-friendly resources.

Darrell’s practice focuses on helping Individuals and business owners decide the most appropriate way to save for retirement and/or transitioning the business to the next generation, helping parents in deciding how much to save for their children’s college expenses and analyzing various investments for clients of all ages and demographics. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Darrell adheres to the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct including serving as a fiduciary for advisory clients by acting in the client’s best interest at all times.

Since he was a small child, Darrell has been involved in circle track racing.  This passion led him to winning track championships and building many relationship in the professional racing industry.  He travels the country meeting with racing teams, sponsors and performance part manufacturers offering financial planning guidance and resources in an effort to help the sport thrive and prosper for many years to come.  If you can’t find Darrell at a racetrack, you will find him at a soccer field with his daughters, Adeline, Olivia and Shelby, or on the family farm with his wife Brittany.
